Downtown Inc receives funding from a number of sources.  Just over half comes from the Business Improvement District (BID) assessment; one mil paid by each commercial and residential rental property within the BID boundaries.  In 2010, one quarter of our income came from  private, charitable contributions.  The balance is generated by grants and various other sources.
