Go Green in the City Vendor Info

Thank you for your interest in serving as a vendor for the 2024 Go Green in the City event.

Celebrate Green, Healthy and Local Living

The 2024 event will take place in Downtown York, Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10am-3pm. This fun, family-friendly festival celebrates green, healthy, and local living and will feature more than 60 vendors, live music, food, children’s activities and much more. Go Green in the City has drawn more than 6,500 attendees during past events, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back in 2024.

What We’re Looking For

*Downtown York Vendor applications apply to existing businesses located within the Central Business District (Business Improvement District). Vendors in Central Market and Penn Market are eligible under this category. Click here to see a map of the Central Business District.

Insurance

After you have received your notification of acceptance by March 15, your certificate of insurance naming Downtown Inc (144 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17401) as an additional insured must be emailed to MWhittle@yceapa.org by March 29. Failure to submit your Certificate of Insurance will result in removal from the event.

Vendor Fees

All vendor fees will be collected online using Eventbrite. You will receive payment instructions, All vendor fees will be due by March 29, 2024. Invoices not paid by this date will result in removal from the event.

Booth Spaces

All vendor booth spaces will be 10’x10′, with an exception for food truck vendors. We ask that all vendors provide their own tents, tables, chairs, etc. If you will be bringing a tent, please bring items such as tent weights or water jugs to weigh down your tent in case of wind. Tents will not be required.

Special Events Permit

All accepted food vendors must fill out a Special Events Permit through the City of York. Permits must be filled out and submitted to the city, along with payment, at least one week before the event. Failure to obtain a food vendor license will result in removal from the event. Please direct any questions to Tamika Rascoe, Health and Sanitation Officer at 717-845-2124 or trascoe@yorkcity.org. Weather

Please keep in mind that inclement weather such as rain, wind, etc.is possible the day of the event! Go Green in the City will continue rain or shine, and all vendors are required to be present. Please prepare accordingly. Even though we cannot control the weather, our team will do our best to keep things organized and running smooth either way!

Electricity

Access to electricity is limited. Please make sure to list if you need electricity on your vendor application! Spaces with access to electricity will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.

WiFi

Internet access will not be available due to the event being outdoors. Please prepare to have another way to collect payments, etc.

Additional Vendor Information

On or by April 19, all accepted vendors will receive additional information such as an event schedule, loading/unloading information, day-of contacts, and event map.
