Foundry Park on the Codorus
On Grant Street, between West Market and West Philadelphia Streets
Features a boat launch into the Codorus for canoes and kayaks, and a Gear Garden with large flower sculptures created by local artisans using repurposed artifacts from York County industry. Site for SPLASH! summer concert series.
Our Rail Trail also runs through downtown York.
York County Heritage Rail Trail
Established in 1992 and covering 176 acres, the Heritage Rail Trail County Park is 21 miles long and runs north from the Mason Dixon line just south of the Borough of New Freedom through Glen Rock, Hanover Junction, and Seven Valleys, and ends at the Colonial Courthouse in downtown York. The most popular activities on the trail are hiking, jogging, bicycle riding, and horseback riding.
