About Thought Prysm
Thought Prysm first appeared in May 2004 in the form of a pop/rap/rock band. After a few months of recording and gigging, this Central Pennsylvania band saw that their creativity was somewhat limited by the boundaries and expectations of Pop music. In late fall '08, Thought Prysm found themselves breaking out of electric rock to explore the possiblities of the acoustic dimension. With it's unique instrumentation and melodic contour, the band has carved a niche of their own and created a new sub genre.

Garrahan’s Ghost, central PA’s own local folk sensation, has been cranking out energetic, Irish-inspired tunes for over 3 years with no sign of stopping. It’s members grew up together, creating music in their garages and basements in various genres ranging from rock to punk to folk. Simplicity, the purity of the energy that courses through the veins of this band, and the foot-stomping rhythm that instantly make any listener get up and dance enchants the ears of crowds. The usual response to a Garrahan’s Ghost show has been “Where has this band been hiding?” and “Why have I just discovered these guys?!” One listen and the steadily-growing crowds always come back for more of this original, talented and perhaps unclassifiable band!
