volunteer opportunities
Downtown Inc welcomes your participation as we work toward achieving the objectives set forth in our annual action plans.
Event-specific Volunteer Opportunities are available if you'd like to give a few hours of your time to help us out with a particular project or event. Examples include officiating, helping with check-in, or selling raffle tickets at the Downtown Kickball Tournament; helping to staff booths at our family-friendly First Friday events that we co-host with Bring On Play; and helping to swag lampposts and bridges with pine roping and bows during our annual Hanging of the Greens, just before the holidays.
We're currently seeking volunteers for:
- Keep York Beautiful City Clean Up
- Saturday, April 14
- 8-11 am
- Go Green in the City, April 21, 2012
- First Friday, April-October 2012

You may also be interested in volunteering on one of our standing Committees. All committees meet at least monthly to carry out the work outlined in our annual action plans.
