June in Downtown York is brimming with exciting events for everyone! The month kicks off with vibrant PRIDE-themed celebrations and festivities that honor diversity and inclusion. Join us for a month full of vibrant PRIDE events and festivities that bring our community together. With so much to do, Downtown York is the place to be this June!

June 1

  • Pride Dance Party at Skid Row Garage
      A Pride Dance Party with performances by: Tragedy Stackhouse, Derriere, Rollinda Coxxx, Deity Stackhouse, and of course Sible Sible Stackhouse!
      $10, Doors at 6pm

June 7 

  • Pride Pop-Off: A Queer Block Party
    • June’s First Friday will kick off Pride in York! Come celebrate with the girls, gays, and theys, and dance your evening away! 🏳️‍🌈 There will be a live DJ set from 6-9 PM with our drag show starting at 7 PM, hosted by York’s favorite queens: Tragedy Stackhouse and Sible Sible Stackhouse! Also featuring: Vampire Taco Truck, cookies and cocktails from Sugar Anarchy, snacks and drinks by Wired Chef, face painting, Dunk-A-Drag-Queen, and water gun chaos! Plus, shop local businesses right around the corner and explore the galleries and restaurants that Royal Square has to offer!
      Head to the Mural Park in Royal Square (right behind Collusion Tapeworks near the fox and sardine can murals) for music and queer magic!
  • Pride Pop-Up Jewelry Exhibit at HIVE artspace
    • The opening of the “Space Age Bachelor Pad” exhibit from 5-9pm, plus a special Pride pop-up by Blackbird Designs jewelry! A portion of all First Friday purchases at Hive will be donated to Rainbow Rose Center, plus a special limited-edition Rainbow-y White Rose York sticker that will also benefit Rainbow Rose!
  • Rainbow Art Pieces from Debbie Toluba Art
    • Artist Debbie Toluba – will be set up from 4-8pm in the “Bird For The Spoken Word” mural alcove on Howard Street. Choose from a RAINBOW of colorful art pieces including collaged notebooks, framed and unframed original art, bookmarks, stickers and more.
  • Royal Queer Gear at King’s Courtyard Artists’ Collective
    • Get your Royal Queer Gear at King’s Courtyard Artists’ Collective! Fun fashion by “Moxie and Mayhem” and free party accessories available at KCAC! Liette Monic will offer Channeled Tarot Readings at $20 for 10 cards from 6-8:30pm! We look forward to your visit!
  • Wigged-Out Pride Gala and Queer Art Show at Creatives on King
    • Join us to kick off Pride Month in style! Wear your best Wig and Colors out for a high-fashion Gala to enjoy art by local Queer Artists. We will provide food, drinks, and photo-ops from 4-6PM, then we’ll parade the party to the Mural Park to continue celebrating with the Pride Pop-Off Block Party!

June 13

  • Pride Month Paint Night with Rainbow Rose Center at Union Lutheran Church
    • Paint Nights at Union are a wonderful opportunity for us and our community to gather around the gift of art. Join Union’s own, Amy Mummert on Thursday, June 13, as we partner with the Rainbow Rose Center to offer this Pride Month Paint Night opportunity! Union is proud to be a prefered partner of the Rainbow Rose Center and we celebrate this opportunity to join together once again. We are asking for a $5 donation to cover all supplies and instruction. If you have your own supplies, or cost would be prohibitive, the event is totally free!
  • York’s Gayest Happy Hour PRIDE Month Celebration at Mudhook
    • Join us at Mudhook Brewing Company on Thursday, June 13th for our PRIDE Month Edition Celebration Happy Hour! We would love to see you all there! Mark your calendars and share the invite with all of your LGBTQIA+ friends! Let’s gather in a great community that we have in York and the surrounding areas! The Rainbow Rose Center of York will be on site with information for York County PRIDE!

June 15

  • Pride Fundraiser at Gift Horse Brewing Company
    • Please join the Rainbow Rose Center as we get ready to celebrate all things Pride! Gift Horse Brewing Company will graciously be donating 50% of all drink sales & 50% of select food menu items to the center from 4pm to 7pm.

June 21

  • Pride Month Group Art Show at Gather 256
    • The opening for the show will be on June 21st, with a reception and opportunity for an artists’ talk. It will feature local LGBTQIA2S+ artists, and aims to provide a space for queer artists to meet and foster and/or expand community. This opportunity is open to artists of all ages.

June 22

  • York County Pride 2024 at York Fairgrounds
    • Come join as we celebrate Pride 2024 at the York County Fairgrounds! We will be located inside the All Trans Memorial Hall!. This event is Hosted by Rainbow Rose Center and York County Pride.

June 26

  • Drag Performances by Sible Stackhouse and more
    • For the vampires, goths, night rockers, death rockers, and wicked.. we got a epic show for ya finally. Lusus – epic industrial/metal / bloodsuckers from New England. Suicide Puppets – Local wicked Industrial metal. Odd Atrocity – Heavy Grunge from Erie PA. $13 at the door. Doors open at 7pm. All ages show.

June 27

  • York Revolution Pride at the Ballpark
  • York Revolution VS Long Island Ducks
    Gates Open – 5:30 pm | Game Time – 6:30 pm
    Pride in the Park
    Game-Worn Pride Jersey Auction presented by JLS Automation
    Hunger Free Thursday presented by Members 1st Federal Credit Union
    bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the York County Food Bank to get a free ticket to this game.
