Who? Everyone is invited to attend First Friday events.  Kid-friendly activities can be found on Beaver Street and throughout downtown York.  Adults may enjoy specials and entertainment at downtown restaurants and nightlife hotspots.

What? First Friday is a monthly event in downtown York during which downtown merchants hold extended hours, host special events and offer discounts.  Each month is themed with merchants incorporating the theme into their promotions and activities.  While every First Friday features several kid and family friendly activities, Downtown Inc and Bring On Play have partnered to present special Kids & Family themed First Fridays in the months of April, June, September, and December.

When? The first Friday of each month from 4 to 9 p.m.

Where? The hub of activity takes place on the first block of North Beaver Street, between Market and Philadelphia Streets.  This block is closed to traffic during the event and features street vendors, entertainment, games, and giveaways.  Additionally, merchants and venues throughout the entire downtown hold extended hours, host special events or live entertainment, and offer promotions and discounts.
