Downtown Inc is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of a Tree Inventory & Urban Forestry Management Plan for Downtown York. This important project will guide future tree planting, maintenance, and sustainability efforts in our city’s core, contributing to a greener, healthier, and more vibrant Downtown.
This initiative is made possible through a grant from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2), administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, using funds received through the federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
The selected consultant will work closely with Downtown Inc and must meet all standards and requirements established by the Bureau. DCNR will monitor progress and review and approve certain project documents throughout the process.
