Downtown Inc announces a new initiative to beautify and enhance Downtown York, the Downtown Clean 15!
Taking as little as 15 minutes, you can play a role in keeping Downtown York looking clean and inviting for our visitors, employees, and residents alike. In conjunction with the Pickup Pennsylvania Campaign, the Downtown Clean 15 Campaign will look to improve the quality of life for all who visit Downtown York.
“As the organization committed to driving, enhancing, and encouraging investment in Downtown York, Downtown Inc is always looking for new ways to make improvements to our Historically Edgy downtown so that it continues to be a great place for residents, employees, and visitors alike,” shared Elaine Bonneau, Director of Downtown Inc.
Beginning in May, together with your co-workers or even by yourself, set aside 15 minutes each month to “tidy up” your outdoor public space. Sweep the sidewalk, repaint the door, fix an awning, wash the windows, plant some flowers, or find another way to play your part in keeping our community looking welcoming.
